El  concurs va ser tota una demostració de com ha de ser un bon cafè.  Finalment, Josep Paretas es va ser escollit  el millor barista gironí de  l'any. Un guardó que li dóna opció a participar en la competició  nacional catalana, que se celebrarà el proper setembre a Barcelona.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;" &gt;El  cafè és un producte del dia a dia. Gairebé el 50% de la població n'és consumidora. El campionat constarà de dues fases: La primera classificatòria i una gran final en la que només i accediran 6 baristas. En la primera fase els participants hauran de prepara 2 cafès espresso i dos cappuccinos. En la final, a més hauran de preparar una combinat amb alcohol i un sense, portant com a ingredient principal el cafè. Set concursants de diferents punts de Catalunya hi van participar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;En Javier Iglesias García, professor de l'Escola d'Hostaleria i Turisme de Barcelona, va ser el primer classificat,s eguit de Ferran Coll Mesa, de l'Escola d'Hostaleria de Sant Pol de Mar i de Ruben Cabello Barrena de la cafeteria el Gust. En primer lloc és va clasificar la Laura Quintana, alumne de l'Escola d'hostaleria de Girona, en segon, la Diana de la cafeteria Angelus de Girona, després la Lucia de la Uni de Barcelona i en quart lloc en Redouan de l'Hotel Carlemany.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"&gt;Els quatre baristas van desmotrar les seves habilitats a l'hora de preparar 4 espressos, 4 cappuccinos i 4 begudes d'especialitat sense alcohol, la base de la qual havia de ser el cafè.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"&gt;Ara la Laura i la Diana es prepararan per a competir al concurs de Catalunya que celebra el fòrum del cafè, des d'aquí els desitjem molta sort!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"&gt;També m'agradaria agraïr a tots els membres del jurat i a tots els amics que han fet possible un any més poder celebrar aquest concurs, que tant d'esforç, però amb tantes ganes celebrem cada any. Durant tot el matí, de 10.00 a 14.00 hores, els millors professionals en l’Art de l’espresso faran gala del domini de la matèria amb 4 tipus de preparacions: 4 cafès espresso, 4 cappuccinos i 4 begudes d’especialitat, la base de qual ha de ser cafè, sense alcohol.  L’Art de l’espresso és el nom de la disciplina amb la qual els especialistes del cafè i altres professionals de l’alta gastronomia identifiquen la transformació de l’aroma del cafè en una beguda servida en la tassa adient i que de manera incipient, comença a tenir, com el vi, el reconeixement que li pertoca, centrant la seva importància en la beguda, i com aquesta s’elabora, i no tant en el producte i el seu origen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Els millors professionals que competiran en la VI edició del Concurs del Barista, que va tenir com a preludi la jornada tècnica i específica en el Fòrum Gastronòmic celebrat a Girona el passat mes de febrer, seran Diana Alejandra, barista de l’Angelus; Redouan el Badri, especialista de l’Hotel Carlemany; Laura Quintana, una de les millors baristes de la seva promoció de l’Escola d’Hostaleria de Girona i Lucía Rodríguez, de la Cafeteria La Uni de Barcelona. El jurat responsable d’avaluar les preparacions estarà integrat per Joan Sayeras, barista del Cafè el Cacau de la Rambla de Cassà de la Selva (Gironès) i guanyador de les dues últimes edicions del concurs i semifinalista del concurs nacional; Raül Montfort, enginyer agroalimentari; els sommeliers Diego González y Anna Vicens; Darko Tckalcevic, vencedor del concurs 2006 “Millor Barista de l’Any” i finalista del concurs del Mediterrani i Marc Sañas, representant de la firma Compak. Actuarà com a coordinador David Molas, president del Club del Barista, una organització amb més de 150 associats a Girona i comarques. El Club del Barista promou el reconeixement professional de l’especialista del Mètode Espresso i és una comunitat barista caracteritzada per ser jove, urbana, amb un profund coneixement del producte i de la seva transformació.  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;En l’anterior edició del Fòrum Gastronòmic, celebrat a Girona, l’Espresso va ser un dels protagonistes. En un dels tallers els Sr. Pere Cornellà va explicar a tots als assistents la dinàmica de l’Espresso. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;Els presents vam poder fer un viatge a l’interior del gra del cafè i entendres el perquè d’aquesta beguda tant especial que si la serveix un cambrer o un altre té unes peculiaritats diferents, fins al punt de convertir-la en una beguda vulgar o per contra una de sublim.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;Per entendre aquesta dinàmica el Sr. Cornellà es va ajudar de la famosa cançó dels &lt;i style=""&gt;Beatles Hey Jude.&lt;/i&gt; Va demostrar que si els paràmetres que ha de controlar el barista no estan en equilibri la beguda es descompensa, al mateix passa si un dels instruments va més lent o amb un to més alt del que li toca. La cançó no és la mateixa i fins i tot podríem arribar a no reconèixer-la.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="CA"&gt;Aquest taller, va comptar amb l’ajuda del club del barista, qui va demostrar que amb un barista qualificat, no només es poden servir espressos excel·lents, sinó que a més es poden preparar begudes amb basse de cafè, que podrien considerar-les ven bé postres.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Els membres dels club van servir a tots els assistents “l’espresso Volcànic” una de les preparacions que van preparar &lt;i style=""&gt;insitu&lt;/i&gt; durant l’acte. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; Tots els assistents van coincidir en afirmar que aquestes preparacions són diferents, atrevides, fàcils de preparar i de gustos sorprenents. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;Ara, com a clients, tenim més opcions per escollir que prendrem al local que sovint anem, i gairebé sempre optem per l'aigua o la coca.cola. 	font-size:10.0pt; 	font-family:"Times New Roman";} &lt;/style&gt; &lt;![endif]--&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA"&gt;Els jutges del 3er Campionat Nacional de Baristes han atorgat el primer premi a Javier García, d'Irun (Euskadi) , el segon a Honorio García, també d'Euskadi, i el tercer a Sofia Prieto, de Galícia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El concurs comptava amb la participació dels 18 millors baristas del país.  Les paraules del guanyador en acabar el concurs van ser que havia quedat satisfet de la seva actuació. Apunta que es va centrar molt amb la tècnica, ja que és l’apartat que té més puntuació.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La beguda d’especialitat amb alcohol va ser cafè, destil·lat d’anís, perfum de llima i un toc de canyella. En aquesta edició participen baristes de 16 comunitats autónomes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Dinàmica del concurs&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cada participant disposa de 15 minuts per a posar a punt la maquinària i de 15 minuts per a preparar quatre espressos, quatre caputxins decorats, quatre begudes d'especialitat a base de cafè i realitzar maridajes amb altres begudes.Al mateix temps els baristas donaran les oportunes explicacions sobre la procedència, característiques i propietats aromàtiques del cafè que estan elaborant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Valoració&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L'actuació i els coneixements seran valorats per un jutge, quatre jutges sensorials i dos jutges tècnics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Semifinals: Dissabte 18 d'octubre.De 10:00 a 18:00h.&lt;br /&gt;Fi de festa: Dissabte 18 d'octubre. passat dimarts 8 d'abril es va celebrar el concurs del barista de Girona, a l'Espai Cafeteria de Cafès Cornellà. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;En primer lloc es va classifciar en Joan Sayeras del Cacau de la Rambla i vicepresident del Club del Barista, en segon lloc la Vanessa Shelaert, i en tercer lloc en Lluís Badia, membre també del Club del Barista. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Des d'aquí volem felcicitar-los per la tasca que porten desenvolupant desde fa anys i que ens ajuda a En Jordi Bisbal passa el seu càrrec de president a la Tània Segòvia del Cafè Art Cafè d'Olot, i en Joan Sayeras i la Lina Zapata actuaran com a vice-presidents i secretaris de la junta directiva.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En aquesta assemblea es van repassar els estats de comptes del Club i es va creure convenient suprimir despeses com la impressió de la revista, i fer-la més interactiva i penjar-la en un blog. És per aquest motiu que a partir d'avui engeguem aquest blog per fer-lo útil i pràctic per a tots els amants de l'espresso.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Així doncs us animo a tots a participar-hi
